The You and Europe Scholarship 2025 invites applications from students across Europe. This program, aimed at strengthening cultural diversity and European understanding, provides a unique chance for international students to pursue master’s studies in Germany. Organized in partnership with leading academic foundations, the scholarship also encourages meaningful discussions on European unity.
What is the You and Europe Scholarship?
This scholarship supports students from Europe, including those from non-EU countries, who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and a strong interest in European issues. It seeks to build a community of socially conscious individuals dedicated to promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and cultural diversity throughout Europe.
Scholarship Benefits
- Financial Assistance: Monthly funding ranging from €300 to €1,112, based on financial need, for the typical two-year duration of a master’s program. Additional benefits may include health insurance and family allowances.
- Networking Opportunities: Participation in biannual gatherings centered on European topics, with covered costs for accommodation, meals, and program fees, as well as subsidized travel expenses.
- Specialized Programs: Exclusive access to activities such as the Europe Academy, EU simulation games, and thematic events focused on European issues.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants from the following countries are eligible: Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Italy, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey.

Eligibility Criteria
- Available to students intending to begin a master’s program in Germany (admission proof required before the funding period starts).
- Open to all academic fields, except visual and performing arts, design, film, and music.
- Candidates must showcase exceptional academic achievement, ranking in the top 10-15% of their class.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is not required.
Additional Considerations
- Applicants with a demonstrated interest in European topics are highly encouraged to apply.
- Students who have previously studied in Germany or obtained a bachelor’s degree there are ineligible, except for those already enrolled in a master’s program.
