In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients are automatically enrolled in the University’s Plus Programme. This program provides personalized workshops, funding opportunities, academic development activities, and career support. Even if you don’t receive the scholarship, you may still qualify for the Plus Programme during your master’s studies.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must meet all the main criteria and at least one of the financial criteria.

Main Eligibility Criteria for Leeds Masters Scholarships:

• You must be starting a full-time, part-time, or distance learning (not fully online) master’s course at the University of Leeds in September or October 2025.
• Your course must lead to an MA, MBA, MEd, MMus, MPH, MRes, MSc, LLM, or a Master’s by Research qualification.
• You must be paying tuition at the UK postgraduate rate.
• You must not already have a master’s degree.

Financial Criteria:

To qualify, you must meet at least one financial condition, such as:

• Graduating from full-time undergraduate study in 2022 or later.
• Other financial criteria apply and will be assessed based on your application.

Leeds Masters Scholarships 2025 Funding Details: What You’ll Benefit

The Leeds Masters Scholarship offers £7,000 in financial support, which can be received in one of two ways:

• Tuition Fee Waiver – The amount is deducted from your total tuition fees.
• Monthly Payments – Receive £875 per month, paid directly to your bank account from the end of October to the end of May.

For students enrolled in multi-year part-time programs, the scholarship amount will be distributed evenly over the course duration.
